Band 6 specialist physiotherapist Stroke

If you are a highly motivated Physiotherapist with Stroke and Neuro experience you will not want to miss out on the opportunity to join an experienced Physiotherapy Team working across the inpatient, intermediate care and early supported discharge services as a band 6 based at Warrington Hospital.  The post would be suitable for an Physiotherapist who has a passion for working within stroke and neurology and who enjoys working within a close friendly multi-professional team.

Band 6 Physiotherapist working in the Stroke and Neuro therapy team. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate developed knowledge and skills in treating this client group, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of an experienced team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.  They will have excellent organisational skills, flexibility, and time management skills in order to work within the demands of this busy service. They will be well supported by a senior Physiotherapy team with regular clinical supervision and have opportunities for further development and learning in their role.  The successful candidate should be a car driver with access to a vehicle that can be used for business use.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the ongoing development of the service and rotate within all areas.  At Warrington and Halton hospitals we are committed to continuing professional development and delivering on our Trust values of working together, delivering excellent care, through being accountable, being role models and always embracing change.  We have a programme for in-service training and regular clinical supervision.

 

The successful candidate would be expected to contribute to a seven day service.
