Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Associate Psychologist (CAP) to join our Primary Care Mental Health Hubs in Doncaster.  This is an exciting time to join our service as transformation across our mental health services progresses, we continue to develop our intervention offer and the way we deliver them.

We are looking for a CAP with excellent clinical skills, and a passion for working with people with a broad range of mental health needs across the lifespan.  The successful candidates will have a strong drive to work collaboratively to enhance services. They will be committed to the principles of recovery, have effective interpersonal and time management skills, as well as being a responsive and motivated team player.

We are strongly invested in supporting staff and development through continued professional development training opportunities.

Main duties of the job

Within the Primary Care Mental Health Hubs you would provide support across our locality hubs to clients with a range of complex mental health problems, undertaking specialist psychological assessment, developing formulations, delivering structured evidence-based intervention and supporting our group delivery.


The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team promoting a strong formulation based approach to the causes and maintaining factors of mental health difficulties.
