We are looking to recruit 2 Senior Procurement Manager's to join our Sourcing Team to provide a customer centric service to drive the sourcing of value for money products and services to support the delivery of high quality clinical care to our patients.  This role is for the capital team, purchasing capital equipment and infrastructure.

Interviews will be held in person in Salisbury

 

Main duties of the job

The role promotes collaborative working across the B&NES, Swindon and Wiltshire area working with numerous stakeholders and colleagues to positively impact patient care. 

The successful candidates will have the flexibility to be based at either in Royal United Hospitals in Bath, Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust or Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Swindon.

Essential criteria
  • Significant relevant procurement experience
  • Obtained or Working towards MCIPS (level 4 minimum)
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Evidence of buying clinical capital equipment
  • Evidence of buying capital (general either infrastructure or equipment)
Desirable criteria
  • Full MCIPS Registration
  • Project management qualification and experience

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Relevant commercial experience using UK Public Sector Regulations
  • Demonstrable experience of supplier and contract management
  • Evidence of resilience
  • Experience of working with wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience of working collaboratively across a wide geographic area
