Would you like to be part of a service which is innovative, forward-thinking and committed to enabling people who are experiencing eating disorders to recover and discover their potential?
We are seeking to appoint a band 6 Specialist Eating Disorder Practitioner, with caring, compassionate nature, who are innovative, creative, flexible and highly motivated. Primarily you will undertake specialist assessments and therapeutic work and monitor physical health care for people presenting with eating disorders across the east Lancashire area..
Main duties of the job
You should be an excellent communicator and team player, with the successful applicant joining a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals working across Lancashire and South Cumbria, based at Pendle House Nelson.

Regular clinical supervision, support and specialist training will be provided.

Person specification
Education
Essential criteria
- First level qualification, RMN or equivalent such as Qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapy
- Information technology skills sufficient to the undertaking of the post.
Desirable criteria
- Specific evidence based therapeutic training.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- An ability to think systemically and holistically.
- Demonstrable Knowledge and skills in evidence based needs led assessments, of highly complex and co-morbid presentations of children, young people, their families and carers.
- Demonstrable Knowledge and skills in evidence based therapeutic interventions relevant to the needs of this client group.
Experience
Essential criteria
- 2 years Post Qualifying Experience in a related field.
- Evidence of an ability to effectively manage own workload and able to work autonomously.
- Working within a team and /or multi-agency arenas.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
