The Pharmacy Logistics  team at the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) are delighted to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity for one lucky candidate to join out supervisory team to help organise, motivate and lead our friendly and enthusiastic Logistics team, as part of our increasingly expanding service. Qualifications / training required

Essential criteria
  • NVQ 2 in Pharmacy or other Level 2 approved GPhC qualification for pharmacy support staff or equivalent experience
  • Supervisory qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience of supervision
Desirable criteria
  • 2 GCSE’s or equivalent grades A* - C or 4-9 in English and Maths (If qualifications gained outside the UK evidence of equivalent standards must be demonstrated at interview)
  • GCSEs in science-based or other role specific relevant subjects
  • Other healthcare qualifications

Previous or relevant experience necessary

Essential criteria
  • Use of information technology in the workplace or within education or voluntary sector
  • Standard keyboard skills
  • Previous pharmacy experience (hospital or community) or supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in health or social care (if not pharmacy)
Desirable criteria
  • Experience in stock control i.e., receiving, maintaining and / or issuing stock
  • Clinical trials or research experience (Clinical trials only)
  • Use of till and / or handling money in a work environment (RSH posts only)
