Job overview

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Transport team within the Bed Management and Patient Flow Service. There will be an expectation for the post holder to be highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled with excellent organisational skills. The post holder will have high standard of skills using Microsoft Office packages and experience of using bespoke IT systems. 

 

 

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the expansion of the Transport Team within Bed Management and Patient flow. The Post will support the booking of patient Transport across the Trust as well as other administrative functions.

You will be the first point of contact for the Transport team and would have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability work well under pressure utilising good levels of work prioritisation. Linking in with Transport providers, Ward staff and Clinicians to ensure all Transport arrangements are made in accordance with Patient need whilst maintaining clear communication around plans made.

The post holder would be flexible with the need for some weekend and Bank Holliday hours to be worked.
