We also provide some specialist services that are commissioned regionally, such as our medium secure services; and nationally, such as the Cassel Hospital for people with complex and severe personality disorder and our high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital.
Job overview
We are recruiting to an Associate Director in our new Borough Structure for Hammersmith and Fulham.
The post holder will have overall strategic and operational management responsibilities for the diverse portfolio of services across the borough. The portfolio includes inpatient services for Adults and Older adults, Community services including crisis assessment and home treatment team (CATT), Mental health integrated network teams (MINT), Talking Therapy, Community Rehabilitation, Early Intervention in Psychosis teams, Perinatal, Liaison Psychiatry and Older Peoples Community teams. There is also an arms length operational report of the Community Independence service.
The post holder will be expected to work alongside the Borough Clinical Director to ensure that there is a strategy and delivery plan in place for the services provided by the Trust within the Borough and that there is effective communication and collaboration between the Trust and partner agencies to improve the integration of care around neighbourhoods and communities. The delivery plan will be expected to include service delivery to agreed KPIs/quality standards, financial and workforce plans.
Main duties of the job
West London has transited to a borough structure to improve co-ordination and integration of patient care at Borough level, which will allow better alignment around collaborative working particularly with patients, Local Authority and other partners. This also aligns with NWL, London and the national direction of travel as outlined in the Darzi review.
This role offers the excellent opportunity to shape the borough in terms of strategies, management and clinical structures. We are looking for a postholder with strong operational experience and skills, an ability to move at pace, but also someone who would like to be instrumental in this significant change management
