Trosolwg o'r swydd

An exciting and excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified CT Head Reporting Radiographer to join the Neuroradiology team at Newcastle Hospitals NHS Trust.

The post has been developed to support the current demanding acute CT head reporting workload in Neuroradiology at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. This new role will be supported by the team of Consultant Radiologists, fellows and other reporting radiographers within the department.

This role will work within a small team managing the acute CT head reporting and overnight checking which includes all acute CT head imaging performed in both Neuroradiology and Radiology.

Reporting radiographers in the trust are supported with on-going training and expanding scope of practice, as part of this we expect reporters to work efficiently within a team to ensure all acute work is reported in a timely manner.

We are a forward-looking department committed to training and role development with a 4 tier system. We want to develop advanced practice within the department and would therefore expect the post holder to participate in teaching and audit.
