Mammographer

Department: Breast Imaging

Band 6 £37,338 - £44,962 per annum

Full-time 37.5 hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working

It is an exciting time for you to join the Brest Imaging team following the re-design of the unit to modernise the space and install state of the art technology into all rooms, this includes tomosynthesis, CESM and CESM biopsy along with a newly designed staff hub.

The Breast Imaging department is part of the diagnostic imaging team at MKUH and provides the National Breast Screening (NHSBSP) and symptomatic imaging service for the population of Milton Keynes. This is delivered from both the statis breast unit and mobile screening unit locations so the ability to work flexibly across different sites is essential.

Due to the nature of the role and to encourage women of all cultures and religions in our community to access breast screening all applicants must be female. This is deemed to be an occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, schedule 9, paragraph 1 and the Employment Statutory Code of Practices, Chapter 13, paragraphs 13.5-13.

If this role excites and you are up for the challenge, we would love to hear from you. For an informal visit or chat, please contact Debbie Noble or Sandra Knox on 01908 996913.
