Probationary Period
All new staff to the Trust will be subject to a standard 6 month probationary period, the details of which will duly follow in your contract of employment.

Agile and Flexible Working
All our staff will have a work base. However the Trust operates as an Agile Working Team therefore staff may be working from home on a regular basis as required by the service. However, occasionally travel around Warwickshire and into your base will be required so access to your own transport would be helpful.
The Trust also welcome staff to work flexibly and we would welcome the conversation at interview regarding flexible working.

Main duties of the job

We have a nationally recognised acute frailty service that features a frailty assessment area, virtual ward, community urgent response team and close links to West Midlands Ambulance Service. Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The trust consistently scores highly on the National Staff Survey. We are based in Warwickshire and cover an area of beautiful countryside featuring the historic towns of Warwick, Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon. It has excellent transport links and numerous high performing schools.
We are looking for a committed and passionate colleague to support and develop our Acute Frailty Service at Warwick hospital. The job is offered as a part-time post (6PA). The appointed consultant will play a key role in the treatment of older adults accessing emergency care. They will work closely with our emergency, acute medicine and community teams to complete comprehensive geriatric assessment of frail older adults in crisis. This is an established service with excellent potential for ongoing development.
