Job overview

The post holder will work within the Applications Management and Integration team to provide second line support and administration duties within the following areas:
System Support
System administration
General Support administration 
User Liaison
Basic Data analysis    
Information Governance compliance checks
Data input error resolution

You will provide day-to-day second line support/problem resolution for the Trust’s digital systems and integrations under the Informatics portfolio.

Main duties of the job

•    Assists in ensuring all systems documentation internal and external are maintained to the required standards.
•    Controlling Access to clinical Systems for all users
•    Monitoring of systems operability and escalating where issues arise 
•    Makes changes to required system access rights, for user(s) moving around the Trust as instructed by operational manager or workforce planning.
•    Highlight and ensure resolution of identified duplicate patient records in line with standard operating procedures

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. Detailed job description and main responsibilities

•    Provides second line support for users of existing systems. 
•    Works to provide the resolution of issues/problems by analysis of information gathered in conjunction with
o    Operational staff
o    The wider Digital Change & Systems Team
o    3rd party providers
o    IT colleagues within Informatics
o    Performance Management & Information
o    Information Governance 
o    Other Trust departments as and when necessary (e.g. Single Point of Access )
•    Escalates issues to management as required.
•    Work closely with all system users.
•    Assists in the monitoring of service desk calls assigned to the Applications Management and Integration team, making regular updates and ensures the ‘user’ concerned is also kept informed of the calls progress/status.
