An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to be a part of our children and young people’s substance use service in Worcestershire. As part of the Cranstoun Here4YOUth service, you will provide a range of tailored interventions with young people depending upon their presenting drug of choice, complexity and need. You will also provide support and build resilience with children and young people whose parents or other family members use drugs or alcohol.   

As a Trainee Here4YOUth Engagement and Recovery Worker, you will learn the skillset required to be able to deliver a good quality and trauma informed service to children and young people, including caseload management, providing specialist assessments, care planning and delivery of evidence-based psychosocial brief and structured interventions through one-to-one appointments, groups and online.  As part of the trainee role you will have dedicated study time to undertake relevant training, including a Level 3 Diploma within adult care.   

The trainee role is expected to last for a period of around 12 months depending on qualification completion and competency sign off. Trainees who successfully complete the qualification and internal training programme will be invited to apply for a permanent Here4Youth Engagement and Recovery Worker role within the organisation as they become available.  

This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure
