If you are looking for an exciting new challenge, Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) which is a specialist mental health and community NHS Foundation Trust, is the place for you.
We are currently looking to recruit a Data Support Officer, on a permanent basis to join the Estates & Facilities team based at Guild Park.
To provide customer-focused systems, I.T., clerical, and administrative support to the Estates and Facilities Directorate, as well as providing secretarial support to the Senior Management Team. The post holder will assist in the supervision of clerical activities and tasks, ensuring that all Estates and Facilities-related work and functions are supported effectively.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of a team but will also be expected to use their initiative, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks for themselves and the team. They will produce work of a high standard with great attention to detail. Key responsibilities include scheduling and managing meetings, taking and distributing meeting minutes, and providing general administrative support.
In addition to these tasks, the Data Support Officer will be responsible for troubleshooting both hardware and software issues, assisting with the setup and maintenance of office equipment, and providing support for software and hardware problems.
The position holder will perform data entry, maintain databases, and create and manage dashboards in Microsoft Excel to support the Information, Knowledge Management & Data Officer. The role also involves developing and maintaining the department's intranet systems. The post holder will work closely with the Systems Development Officer to help drive continuous improvement for the department. The post holder will be expected to be proficient with the Microsoft suite including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, teams and SharePoint.
The Data Support Officer will also support the recruitment process, manage payroll information, and ensure the smooth operation of the department by coordinating with different departments and team members.
