About the Role
Brighton & Hove is an established Unitary Authority and is a major economic, social, and cultural force in the southeast region, with a vibrant, dynamic and diverse community which makes the city of Brighton & Hove truly unique.
This role requires you to support and deliver health and care objectivities within the city.
You will be:
· A motivated team player who is highly effective at communicating, influencing and collaborating to make changes
· flexible however your portfolio will include working as the public health consultant lead for improving local sexual health outcomes, drugs and alcohol use outcomes, and workforce development
· providing expert public health leadership and advice to the Integrated Care Board to drive the development of population health management within the Sussex health and care system
You must be Faculty of Public Health registered specialist (included on the UKPHR or GMC registers with a license to practice). Any public health speciality registrar applicants who are currently on the UK public health training programme and not yet on either the GMC, GDC or UKPHR specialist register must provide verifiable signed documentary evidence that they are within 6 months of gaining entry to a register at the date of interview. Applicants going through the portfolio registration routes (GMC or UKPHR) are not eligible to be shortlisted for interview until they are included on the register.
