The role has a focus on general rehabilitation and toxin delivery work. Clinics usually have 3 hours of clinical work with 1 hour of admin, though this can change to accommodate needs for the candidate and service.
There is also in-reach work for inpatients in the neurobehavioral and neurorehabilitation wards, as well as outreach clinics/home visits.
We are the regional center for neurorehabilitation and the post holder will be part of the Single Point of Access team, assessing referrals for inpatient admission.
Toxin clinics are usually run are new assessment spasticity MDT clinics (1-3/week) and review clinics through a variety of medial and non-medical injectors. The post holder will be expected to support the toxin service, particularly in spasticity management, and so a candidate with expertise in both ultrasound guided and non-ultrasound guided injections would be ideally suited for the role.
You will have your own office space and will be supported by a medical assistant and/or medical secretary. We are looking for applicants based anywhere in the UK to explore exciting new opportunities in remote and digital working.
This is a substantive and full-time post however we would be happy to consider applicants available on a part time or fixed term basis.
