Trosolwg o'r swydd

Are you an experienced planning radiographer with a passion for radiotherapy planning? Are you ready to join an enthusiastic planning team within a forward-thinking and technically-advanced department? If so, then why not become part of our excellent Radiotherapy Physics team at Royal Surrey Cancer Centre?

The Royal Surrey Cancer Centre is focused on providing excellent patient pathways and patient-centred care.We strive to continuously evolve to reflect the technical advances within Radiotherapy, and work closely as a multi-professional team to achieve this. We have two Varian Halcyon units and a Varian Ethos unit, which enable us to deliver daily online adaptive radiotherapy. These units complement our four Varian TrueBeams and 3 CT Scanners across the two sites, within an Aria environment. External beam treatment planning is carried out using the Varian Eclipse system, and includes use of knowledge-based planning, autocontouring and scripting for automated workflows. We use MR imaging in treatment planning and further development of PET/CT is underway. The successful candidate will manage the planning team, initiating and leading on research and development projects to enable continuing implementation and expansion of state-of-the-art radiotherapy techniques. They will provide scientific support at the highest level for all aspects of the external beam radiotherapy service and ensure production of accurate, safe treatment plans within appropriate timescales.
