As a key member of the private maternity team, we are seeking a dedicated Band 6 midwife who is passionate about continuity of care and is ready to embrace new challenges. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a small team of midwives and Consultant Obstetricians, providing individualised, maternity care to our private clients.

Essential criteria
- Registered Midwife
- Evidence of continuing post registration education and development.
- Registered Educated to degree level in relevant subject area
Desirable criteria
- Examination of the New-born
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant post registration experience in a range of settings including labour ward/intrapartum care.
- Safeguarding.
- Previous mentorship experience

- Caseload experience
- Parent education experience
Skills/knowledge/ abilities
Essential criteria
- Clinically competent
- Proven experience in supervision of trained staff
- IT skills including Microsoft office, Excel and PowerPoint
- Able to demonstrate a working knowledge in standard setting and quality management.
- Excellent communicator – written.
Desirable criteria
- Quality improvement methodologies
- Evidence of applying current research to practice.
