We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Band 6 Radiographers to join our Imaging team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The post will be based at Hammersmith Hospital. The post will give the opportunity for you to build on and extend your clinical skills.
Education and training are key elements of the department. We encourage and support staff in their CPD and offer both undergraduate and postgraduate opportunities.
The Imaging Department at Hammersmith Hospital performs a comprehensive range of procedures over a variety modalities with both clinical and research work being undertaken. We provide complex imaging for the many specialist centres within our Hospital, including Renal Transplant Medicine, Hepatobiliary and Cardiothoracic medicine.

- BSc(Hons) Radiography, DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent
- Health Professions Council Registration
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

- College of Radiographers accredited cannulation course
SKILLS/ABILITIES

- Ability to teach and mentor students, more junior staff and new members of staff
- Ability to cope with conflict and complaints at local level commensurate with Trust policies
- Ability to work using own initiative but also to know when to seek assistance and guidance.
- Keep all records up to date in a clear, accurate and concise manner on a day-to-day basis

- Intermediate IT skills.
EXPERIENCE

- Up to date knowledge of general imaging techniques
- Awareness of clinical governance issue in relation to patient care
- Understanding of factors affecting service throughput and quality
- 12 months post-graduation experience

- Greater than 18 months post-graduation experience
- CT and/or Angiography experience
- Demonstrate ongoing CPD
