We are looking for a Band 6 Practitioner to join our ADHD team. They will be responsible for the ADHD pathway within CYPMHS and manage a caseload to assess and provide evidence-based treatment to children and young people who present with ADHD.

As an ADHD Practitioner you will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. You will be joining an established, supportive and hardworking team who are passionate about improving the outcomes for the children, young people and their families/carers.  

The post holders will support their peers and team coordinator and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative. They will supervise other staff members as required. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.

Main duties of the Community ADHD Practitioner role include:
•    Completing comprehensive assessments for children and young people on the ADHD pathway 
•    Being a vital part of the ADHD Multi-disciplinary team and contribute to in-depth discussions and reviews regarding diagnosis of ADHD 
•    Building therapeutic relationships with children and young people and delivering evidence-based interventions
•    Manage your own caseload of children and young people with a diagnosis of ADHD
•    Liaising with and offering advice to other professionals 
•    Contributing to all aspects of positive team functioning
•    Contributing to ongoing service innovations and development

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
