Digital Training Support Officer

Our Vision is to provide the best mental health, learning disability, autism, community, and physical health services for the populations we serve.

As an integrated Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) delivers a comprehensive range of services, including:

  • Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults, including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, and forensic services with low and medium secure care.
  • Specialist mental health inpatient care for individuals with learning disabilities, alongside specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
  • Extensive community physical health and well-being services for children and adults, covering prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term condition management.

The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,500 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. The organisation offers opportunities for medics, mental health, general nurses, children’s nurses, allied health professionals, psychology, administration and clerical staff, apprentices and volunteers, as well as those specialising in learning disabilities and community physical health services.

Are you passionate about digital learning and keen to make a difference in the NHS?  

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Training Support Officer to join our Digital Training team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of digital training across the trust, contributing to the development of staff digital capabilities and the smooth running of training programmes. 

This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home, with occasional travel to trust sites for meetings, workshops, and on-site training support.

  • Provide administrative support to the Digital Training Manager and Trainers. 
  • Coordinate training sessions, including scheduling, resource preparation, and learner communications. 
  • Maintain accurate learner records and generate reports using the Trust’s Learning Management System (LMS). 
  • Assist in the development and testing of e-learning packages and training videos. 
  • Respond to training enquiries and signpost learners to appropriate support. 
  • Attend meetings and contribute to project updates and resource reviews. 
  • Support learners with basic digital skills queries and training requests.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 4 education or equivalent
  • GCSE (or equivalent) English grade C or above
  • Evidence of competence in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel

Knowledge
