Band 2 £24,465 Per annum, pro rata if part-time

Hours: 37.5 per week, various part time hours available. All MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working

Are you customer focused and do you have previous cleaning experience, preferably within healthcare?

Have you previously worked, or are willing to learn, general cleaning duties in a patient environment, and are you passionate about delivering high cleaning standards for NHS patients?  

Do you feel comfortable working alongside clinical colleagues, knowing that what you do is an important part of keeping patients comfortable, safe and confident that we all have their best interests at heart?

ADMK are looking to recruit experienced domestic staff for a mix of full-time, flexible and shift, hospital cleaners to join our team.  You would be trained, supported and become part of a growing team and organisation.

We are recruiting immediate hires and registering interest for future positions including candidates for whom flexible hours to fit in with other responsibilities, are important.

We are establishing a bank of staff able to work occasional shifts, for instance to cover for absent colleagues or at times when we are especially busy at this large NHS hospital site.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the ADMK domestic supervisor, you will work in a healthcare setting, with all members of the domestic team to create a clean and safe environment that enhances the appearance of the facility.

As we are growing, there are opportunities for experienced cleaning supervisors and for people for whom night-time hours are also a preference.

The post holder is to deliver duties as instructed to the required standard, to ensure the hospital is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment always.

Floor Cleaning Duties

•    Suction clean & dust control sweeping

•    Damp and wet mopping

Deep Cleaning/Periodic Cleaning

In accordance with hospital policy & work instruction

Exit & Terminal Cleans

In accordance with hospital policy & work instruction

Other Duties

•    Curtain changes
•    Cleaning of cleaning equipment and signage
