Healthcare Assistant - Corner Place

Job overview

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant with a caring nature and proactive professional manner to provide a high standard of care for our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a someone with good communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a strong and effective team.

Main duties of the job

Clinical procedures to include, but not limited to:

• Phlebotomy and venepuncture

• Electrocardiograms (ECGs)

• Blood pressure monitoring (including ambulatory/home readings)

• Urinalysis

• INR monitoring in line with agreed pathways

• Complex wound care under supervision

• NHS Health Checks, including basic cholesterol awareness

• Smoking cessation advice and brief interventions

• New patient health checks and routine observations
