Senior Executive Level 4, £113,625 - £140,655 per annum

The Public Health Agency (PHA/Agency) is the statutory body responsible for improving and protecting the health and social wellbeing of the population of Northern Ireland and for reducing health inequalities through leadership, partnership and evidence-based practice.

As a newly created position on our Executive Team, the successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to shape world class research, health intelligence and digital functions, to drive evidence led decisions and services across the Health and Social Care (HSC) system. You will lead on the design and operation of major data and information platforms, strengthen research commissioning and governance, and forge collaborative partnerships across government, academia and the wider UK Ireland public health community.

This is a pivotal moment for the Agency. We are a dynamic, forward thinking organisation, working with partners to reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes at scale. If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact, disciplined in delivery, and inspirational in leadership, we invite you to apply and help us shape the future of public health in Northern Ireland.

For further information on a non-committal basis, you can contact Dr Joanne McClean, Director of Public Health by email to [email protected] to arrange an informal discussion.
