An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Older Adults Community Mental Health Team in South Lakes as a Band 7 Team Leader.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with leadership and management experience who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of older adults within the community. This role offers the opportunity to lead a skilled multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with a range of mental health needs, including dementia, depression, and complex mental health conditions.

The role is Monday to Friday 9-5 with Bank Holidays off.

As Team Leader, you will provide both clinical and operational leadership supporting staff through supervision, guidance, and development while ensuring the safe and effective delivery of services. A key part of the role will involve monitoring and managing team performance, promoting a positive and accountable team culture, and supporting staff to achieve high standards of practice and service delivery. We are looking for leaders who demonstrate visible, supportive leadership, fostering a positive team culture while also holding themselves and others to account for high standards of practice, performance, and patient care.

You will also play an important role in working collaboratively with partner organisations, building strong relationships across health and social care services, including primary care, acute services, social care, and voluntary sector partners. Effective partnership working will be key to ensuring coordinated, holistic care and the best possible outcomes for older adults and their fam
