Swydd-ddisgrifiad a phrif gyfrifoldebau manwl

• Develop, lead and manage the delivery of a significant project (linked to the national agenda for CYPIMHS), ensuring the developments do not have an adverse impact on existing patient care and quality.
• Develop and maintain a clear programme outline, detailed plan and risk register for each project.
• Support clinical, operational and corporate services in the identification, planning and implementation of service redesign and transformation opportunities to improve the quality of care.
• Lead the planning and engagement with clinicians and stakeholders to understand the case for change, develop future models of care and implement the change.
• To support the identification and sharing of best practice in rehabilitation to support service improvement
• Able to identify data requirements, define analysis requirements, design data gathering and desired outputs.
• To support the Programme SRO, PC Lead, ICS MH Programme Director and Programme Board in the identification and management of project and programme dependencies.
• To oversee the successful completion and implementation of the project to operationally support with the necessary approval.
• Comply with the financial processes and deadlines (e.g. ensuring benefits are identified in the appropriate timescales) and promote best value for money.
• Ensure that any financial information (cost or benefit) related to the programme is accurate, up-to-date and verified by the finance lead.
• Development of business justifications, business cases, and programme initiation and definition documents in collaboration with all operational teams across all partnering organisations.
• Direct and motivate multi-agency, multi-disciplinary project teams while emphasising a focus on project delivery.

Qualifications

Educated to master's degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level.
Programme Management qualification e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, etc. or equivalent experience.
Evidence of relevant further higher level education (post graduate) and/or training and/or CPD plus further experience.

Experience

Extensive management experience, including delivery of a significant programme of change / redesign and effectively redesigning clinical pathways.
NHS clinical or operational experience.
Expert and demonstrable knowledge and experience of managing several projects to support large and complex programmes in a health care setting.

Skills

Demonstrable team and senior management skills.
Delivery of successful change or redesign programmes
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills when dealing with highly complex and sensitive information to a wide range of stakeholders across organisational boundaries.

Knowledge

Have an expert knowledge of the tools and techniques for planning, monitoring, controlling programmers and projects
Working knowledge of clinical governance principles egg Data Protection – Information Governance and IG toolkit.
Able to think strategically and can problem solve at a strategic level.

Fixed Term Contracts for existing NHS Employees – temporary contracts for employees of LYPFT, or colleagues joining from another NHS Trust, will be offered on a secondment basis wherever possible. In the event this is not possible, an FTC would be issued and this would require a break in service of two weeks.

The purpose of a temporary is role could be for maternity cover, temporary funding or some other reason. At the end of which the need for the temporary work will cease. Temporary roles can stop, be extended and/or made permanent at any point during the period of work. Should the role become permanent then the post-holder will be informed of the process to be followed to convert the position to a permanent one.
