We also provide some specialist services that are commissioned regionally, such as our medium secure services; and nationally, such as the Cassel Hospital for people with complex and severe personality disorder and our high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital.

Job overview

We are looking for an experienced Administrators to join the Integrated Community Response Service. The service aims to manage complex clinical cases at home, prevent unnecessary hospital admission and support early discharge of patients following an acute admission. You will be joining a dynamic team comprising of doctors, nurses, therapists, support staff, a social worker and handyman, which operate seven days a week: 365 days a year.

 

Your primary purpose will be to provide an exemplary customer facing service to promote a positive image of the service and to support the team daily clinical co-ordinator in management of referrals and patients’ needs each day. 

 

We expect you will have excellent verbal and written skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, accurate data inputting skills and an enthusiastic approach. Previous NHS or Social Care experience is essential.

Main duties of the job

The service operates from 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year and you will be expected to participate in a planned rota which includes weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.

 

You will also be expected to:

 

·       Provide a high standard of administrative support to all members of the service

·       Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Microsoft applications

·       Communicate effectively and clearly in person, on the telephone and in emails

·       Prioritise your workload in line with service requirements

·       Maintain a professional approach

  • Assist the administrative lead in the provision of the service as necessary
  • Comply with trust policy and procedures
