We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Trust as a Patient Pathway Administrator / receptionist; we are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Macmillan and Oncology team in our cancer centre. You will work within this dedicated team to facilitate the smooth running of the reception and clinic areas, scheduling and booking appointments and ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined communication revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
You should have experience of working as a receptionist or in a customer focused environment, and have knowledge of customer care. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a desire to provide a first-class service for patients and clinical teams.

Main duties of the job
This rapidly expanding modern and busy service offers many training opportunities for their staff, recent developments have led to the opening of our cancer centre in February 2020 and the Radiotherapy centre in 2024. This developing service is supported by a forward thinking & supportive Management Team, Nurse Practitioners, Palliative Care Team & Macmillan Wellbeing and Support Centre. We firmly believe in holistic care, with a newly established wellbeing team to enhance the recovery package for patients living with and beyond cancer. We have Citizen Advice Bureau onsite and offer a wide range of carers and patient support groups.
