Are you looking to join a busy and collaborative recruitment team? Do you have experience of working in a recruitment or customer service role and have the ability to process data accurately?

#TeamMKUH have an exciting opportunity in a growing team to develop your recruitment skills. As a recruitment administrator, you will provide an efficient and effective service to our busy recruiting managers within the hospital. The role will involve liaising with managers and candidates to ensure a streamlined and seamless onboarding experience, processing Right to Work, DBS checks and publishing adverts.

This role focuses on the recruitment of Doctors and Dentists working at Milton Keynes University Hospital. You will gain exposure to the wide range of medical roles within the Trust and join the team at a particularly busy and varied time. The post holder will support the onboarding of Resident Doctors during the August national rotation, assist with the coordination of Consultant interviews, and be responsible for the end to end recruitment process for Doctors joining the Trust Bank, as well as other supportive recruitment tasks.

You will work proactively to support the continuous improvement of the recruitment administration service. Additionally, your ability to establish cordial relationships at all levels and your excellent communication and interpersonal skills would be an asset to the team.

The successful candidate will be based at Witan Gate House which is only a 10-minute walk from the main shopping centre and train station. We also have a fantastic cafeteria on-site. 

This role provides recruitment administration for all Medical vacancies within the Trust, they will be the single point of contact and ensure that recruitment administration and supporting processes and procedures are deliver to the highest standard. They will support vacancy control for their areas and support recruitment from the point that a post is identified to on boarding of the successful candidate.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

1.    To provide a full range of recruitment administrative support to medical Staff.

2.    To be responsible for longlisting all medical posts against pre-agreed screening criteria.

3.    Respond to factual references requests from Trust medical workforce.

4.    To conduct one to one meeting with successful candidates to ensure all pre-employment checks are carried out and recorded accurately, including Right to Work and Disclosure and Barring checks.

5.    To be the first point of contact for recruiting managers and candidates for one of the Trust’s Divisions

6.    To provide recruitment information to Trust managers, support the Divisions to data gather data and management information

7.    To manage vacancy control for your Division, following up and resolve queries.

8.    Provide administrative support for interview arrangements, including set up.

9.    Support the end to end recruitment process for Medical Honorary contracts.

10.    Support the end to end recruitment process for Medical Bank contracts

11.    To provide HR administrative support for the implementation across the Trust of specified national and Trust Medical Staffing initiatives and projects.

12.      Respond to enquiries in person, by email and over the telephone.

Qualifications and knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Five GCSES Grade A*-C (or equivalent). Must include Maths & English
  • ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence), or able to demonstrate equivalent level of advanced IT skills
  • NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification or equivalent relevant experience
Desirable criteria
  • CIPD qualification or working towards a CIPD qualification level 3

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Flexible attitude and the ability to forge new relationships with ease.
  • Positive attitude, highly motivated
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience in a Human Resources department
