Trosolwg o'r swydd

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the delivery of the diagnostic respiratory and sleep physiology services at the new Clacton Diagnostic Hub and Colchester Hospital.

Once training has been completed you will be able to run a sleep study set up clinic.

You will play a key role in the running and development of the Sleep diagnostic services which will involve attaching and demonstrating to patients how to apply their overnight sleep study device, for outpatients and where required inpatients. You will maintain a good level of technical work in addition to downloading the data for the respiratory physiologist. You will be responsible for triaging phone messages for CPAP equipment replacements and posting out to patients. You will be joining a busy, multidisciplinary team including, CPAP Practitioner, Physiologists, Consultants, Respiratory Nurse Specialists and Administrative support.

You will carry out demonstrations and applications of a range of respiratory and sleep investigations:

Respiratory Sleep Polygraphy

Overnight Pulse Oximetry

Please note, the role will be cross sited across Clacton and Colchester

To form part of a multidisciplinary team providing high quality sleep diagnostic services to the patients of ESNEFT. Once trained, to be able to initiate application of a variety of sleep studies and download results. To be running and maintaining clinics linked to sleep study diagnostics from both Clacton and Colchester sites.
