Outreach and Training Team Leader

Salary: £35,375 plus benefits
Location: East Midlands (Homebased with regional travel)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time

This is a pivotal role within GamCare's expanding Community Outreach & Training service, leading a team of practitioners while continuing to play an active role in frontline delivery yourself. You'll provide the day-to-day leadership, supervision and support that enables your team to do their best work, while helping to shape the quality, reach and impact of outreach and training activity across your region.

As the link between strategic direction and frontline practice, you'll build the partnerships, referral pathways and community connections that embed GamCare's services into local systems for the long term. This is a role for someone who understands that lasting change requires both strong relationships and rigorous practice, and who is energised by the opportunity to grow something meaningful.

About you

You'll be an experienced leader with a background in health, social care, community development or a related field, and a track record of supporting and developing staff alongside your own delivery. You'll bring a strong understanding of public health approaches to prevention, the confidence to work across complex stakeholder environments, and the resilience to balance competing demands without losing sight of quality. Experience working with diverse or seldom-heard communities is important, as is the ability to use data and insight to inform how your team works.

Staff Benefits we can offer you:

  • 33 days basic annual leave entitlement per annum (pro-rated for part-time colleagues) including bank holidays which increases with service.
  • A generous Pension Scheme - we contribute 6% and you contribute 2%.
  • Discretionary company sick pay from day one of service.
  • Employee Assistance Programme – 24-hour support

Closing date for applications: 5 July 2026.

GamCare is committed to offering the best support to people affected by gambling harms, as such we welcome applications from candidates with lived experience.
