Emergency Care Practitioner
AfC Band 7
Trosolwg o'r swydd
The Royal Surrey County Hospital Emergency Department cares for around 75,000 patients each year, delivering high quality, compassionate care to our local community. As our service continues to grow and evolve, we are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Band 7 Emergency Care Practitioner (ENP/ECP/EPP) to join our dynamic and forward thinking team.
Our department has introduced innovative patient pathways that have significantly improved patient flow, experience and overall performance. We are a motivated, energetic team with a shared commitment to delivering the highest standards of evidence based emergency care. We are proud of the service we provide and passionate about the difference we make every day.
We are seeking experienced autonomous practitioners who can provide patient centred assessment, examination, diagnosis, treatment, referral and discharge for patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses. You will work within locally agreed protocols and Patient Group Directives. Independent Nurse Prescribing is desirable but not essential.
Applicants should have:
• A minimum of two years’ experience working autonomously in an emergency environment
• Strong clinical decision making skills
• Excellent communication abilities and a positive, team focused attitude
If you are passionate about Emergency Care and ready to contribute to a high performing, patient focused team, we would love to hear from you.
