Job overview

This post is Fixed term/Secondment for 1 year to meet the needs of the service.

This post is part time - 25 hours a week secondment for 1 year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the established Breast Care Nursing team at Ysbyty Gwynedd and Llandudno Hospital.

The post holder will work collaboratively and co-operatively as part of the Breast Multi-Disciplinary team, delivering evidence based high quality clinical care that focuses on the direct needs of the patient as an inpatient or outpatients.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

To provide professional and clinical services in the care and management of patients who have been found to have Breast Disease.

Provide expert knowledge, support to patients, families and the nursing/medical profession within the acute and community setting.

Lead and organise the service in the absence of the Band 7.

Contribute to the development of a service that requires autonomy and clinical excellence.
