An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian to join our friendly team who deliver services in acute and primary care, and public health.
You will join a team of Band 5 Dietitians where you will be supported by Specialist Dietitians to develop competence across speciality areas.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
This role is offered on a Bank basis. We will endeavour to offer shifts when available; however, hours cannot be guaranteed and will depend on service needs such as sickness cover, maternity leave, vacancies, and budget capacity at the time.
Provide a Dietetic service to patients with a wide range of conditions. This involves the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management and discharge of service users.
Work as a member of Dietetic team and multi-disciplinary teams liaising with and advising other agencies in relation to the specific client’s needs and service delivery.

Essential criteria
- Recognised qualification degree/equivalent in Dietetics.
- HCPC registered.
Desirable criteria
- Membership of appropriate clinical network group.
Experience
Essential criteria
- A range of clinical experience across Adult services during clinical placement.
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in multidisciplinary/ Multi-professional teams.
- Experience of delegating work to non-registered staff.
- Experience of supporting service change.
Skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.

- Self-motivating and ability to motivate others.
