Community Nursing Caseload Holder/ District Nurse

We are seeking a Community Nurse Caseload Holder/Qualified District Nurse to work within the Bedford Locality.

 

You will be a strong leader, focused on achieving real improvements in outcomes for patients and will be confident in your ability to support, coach and develop individuals and teams to deliver consistently high quality services. You will be innovative, forward thinking, self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

 

 

 

 

Main duties of the job

You will take pride in your work and be highly motivated and dynamic, have a flexible approach and be able to embrace change. Being a collaborative worker and the ability to network and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders is essential.  You will be supporting the delivery of urgent response care and virtual ward as part of this role.

 

Due to the nature of the post the applicant must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post and hold a driving licence and have access to a car.

Education/ Qualification/ Training

Essential criteria
  • Registered General Nurse
  • Demonstrate evidence-based practice and up-to-date clinical skills
  • Evidence of significant post registration nursing experience including community setting
  • Post-registration qualification in a relevant clinical field
  • Post-registration nursing experience, including community experience
  • Relevant teaching/mentorship qualification and evidence of teaching skills.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Evidence of and commitment to multi-professional working

Knowledge and Skills

Essential criteria
  • Literate in IT/Computer Skills
  • Good communication skills based on fluency on the English language
