Medical Insurance Administrator

Job Summary

Health Partners Europe Ltd are market leaders in the provision of third-party medical administration, healthcare consulting and risk solutions for business and elite standard sports.

We are seeking a detail-orientated Medical Insurance professional to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while effectively administrating various medical insurance schemes to sports clients involving assessment against scheme specific benefits, eligibility, and rules. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be able to communicate effectively, and have a background in processing medical insurance claims. Candidates should be empathetic with member’s treatment requirements and have excellent interpersonal skills to deal with sometimes contentious issues with high profile people.

 

Responsibilities

  • Administer various sports medical insurance schemes; assessing against specific benefit limits, eligibility and rules.
  •  Writing to members with advice, claim forms and subsequent management of these.
  • Data input – accurate invoice processing and where necessary further investigation into treatment.
  • Invoice queries – involves identification of provider errors, advice to providers, bank checks and credits and re-issue.
  • Check membership criteria, claims, provider pricing, scheme agreements and communicate this information to clients.
  • Manage payment runs - checking, sending payments, identify invoice queries and producing relevant reports.
  • Provide analysis on medical schemes as and when requested.
  • Input membership data and produce membership reports for sports clubs.
  • Directing, indexing and distributing incoming invoices.

 

 Experience

  • Previous experience in a medical insurance field is ESSENTIAL.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyse information and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Analytical skills, understanding and the use of excel spreadsheets.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently.

Location: Belmont, Sutton, Surrey

Hours: 9am-5.30pm Monday- Thursday/Friday 9am- 5pm (1-hour unpaid break each day)

Working from home: One day per week when fully trained
