Job overview

Working as a member of the CMATS admin team, you will provide efficient and effective secretarial support for clinical services, typing letters, reports and correspondence from dictated materials.

You will need to have audio typing experience, IT literacy and a good general level of education. The ability to work as part of a busy team is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

Working in a highly pressurised environment to provide a professional, efficient and effective administrative service to the CMATS Lead, GPwSIs and the Physiotherapy Extended Scope Practitioners.

Using initiative in sometimes complex situations to ensure that patient referrals are triaged and redirected appropriately and timely, in line with local and national targets and guidelines

Work team, supporting other team members to deliver the targets and a patient focused booking service.

Accurately type clinic notes from dictated tapes within strict timescales.
