As part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing support. We are looking for compassionate, motivated nurses with a passion for stroke care and a commitment to clinical excellence. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

As a Stroke Specialist Nurse at Glan Clwyd Hospital, you will provide expert care to patients across the stroke pathway—from acute admission through rehabilitation and discharge planning. Your role will involve clinical assessment and supporting early interventions to improve outcomes. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, evidence-based care. You’ll also contribute to service development, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives. This is a dynamic and rewarding role for a nurse passionate about stroke care and committed to delivering excellence in patient outcomes.
