Job overview

The Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team at Glan Clwyd Hospital plays a crucial role in providing services directly to wards, theatres, departments, and clinics across the Central IHC area of BCUHB, and is now looking for a self-motivated, patient- and service-focused individual to join the team as an Assistant Technical Officer (ATO).

Main duties of the job

Working within the pharmacy, you will carry out a wide range of tasks including the receipt, storage, distribution, and disposal of medicines, as well as supporting the accuracy of stock levels and using pharmacy IT systems to process requests efficiently. You’ll need to have good organisational and communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work accurately. While previous experience is desirable, it’s not essential — full training will be provided. The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is required.

We’re looking for the right personal qualities as much as experience. If you're enthusiastic, dependable, and ready to play a key part in our team, we’d love to hear from you.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
