The salary scale for a Band 3 has been adjusted as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2026/2027 and will be implemented in August 2026 backdated to 01 April 2026 where applicable.
Job overview
We are seeking a self-motivated, patient/service focused individual to join our existing team of Pharmacy Assistants working within the dispensary.
Facilitating the smooth flow of work through the dispensary making sure all people involved in the process, including patients and staff are provided with necessary information to ensure that patient’s medication supply needs are met as a priority.
You’ll also ensure the timely collection of pharmacy orders and delivery of pharmaceuticals to all wards and departments.
The post holder undertakes general courier duties to ensure the smooth running of the pharmacy and moving of bulk products and equipment as required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
