Job overview
An opportunity has arisen to work as a Band 5 Physiotherapist based in North Wales.
This advert is for the Central Area of BCUHB (Conwy and Denbighshire) where all core rotations are 4 months and cover both acute (Ysbyty Glan Clwyd) and community hospital settings - these include MSK, COTE, Neuro, Stroke, T&O, Paediatrics, Community, and Respiratory. The Band 5's will join a large supportive innovative team.
The physiotherapy service in BCUHB offers a whole career pathway to Band 8C. Service improvement and development is encouraged and all staff have access to regular supervision and training.

This is an opportunity to work in large established and supportive team in a beautiful part of the UK.
Please note that this is a 7 day working contract, staff will be supported to participate in the respiratory on-call rota.
Main duties of the job
To assess and treat patients from a designated caseload, some may have complex physical and psychological problems
To provide a diagnosis and plan and deliver an individualised treatment programme.
To hold responsibility for own caseload working with out direct supervision
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner
To ensure a high standard of care for each patient working with patients, families or carers, multi-agency teams and disciplines involved.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
