Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Data Manager to work as part of the Health & Care Research Wales delivery workforce within the Research & Development team at BCUHB based at Glan Clwyd Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to development, implementation of maintenance of data collection tools.
  • Transcribe and export data from medical notes to bespoke databases.
  • Provide expertise and training in data management.
  • Liaise and assist the nursing and medical team in collection of accurate data.
  • Review data collected to ensure that it is compliant with principles of data integrity.
  • Identify, engage and support practitioners to deliver high quality research studies.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with the ability to work on their own initiative, have excellent communication and leadership skills.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
