We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Speech and Language Therapist to join a well-established, supportive and experienced Speech & Language Therapy Team.
The successful candidate will work alongside other Speech and Language therapists to assess and treat children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs.
Main duties of the job
As a successful candidate you will have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree and HCPC registration. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills (including observation, listening and empathy skills) to support the individual needs of children, and families, working together with professionals in Health and Education Services. With support, you will organise, plan and prioritise your own workload, and develop appropriate strategies for caseload management. There will be the opportunity to develop skills in the training and education of staff in Preschool settings and schools, partnership working with parents and the development of therapy programmes.

- Buddy and Supervisor support in completing RCSLT NQT Competencies.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
