Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for clerical officer to join the team at Colwyn Bay Hospital. The purpose of this post is to provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative and reception service to Ruthin Hospital. The post holder will first point of contact for telephone communication. The post holder will work within the Colwyn Bay Hospital administrative teams alongside the Site Administrator to provide a seamless administrative service to the Community Hospital.

Main duties of the job
Offer general assistance to services providers and users and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the General Office including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the team
Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of staff secondary care and other associated healthcare and wellbeing agencies
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post
