Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the hard-working team on a permanent basis as a healthcare support worker.  The contract on offer is full-time, offering a flexible opportunity to work alongside other professionals to provide high quality care and treatment to our patients.

To provide high quality care to patients who require inpatient support to improve their mental wellbeing.  We are committed to treating everyone as an individual and look to support our patients with specific focus on therapeutic interventions and collaborative MDT working to ensure the best treatment and support for our patients.

Main duties of the job

To assist the registered nurse in carrying out day to day care of individuals, endeavouring to provide for the holistic needs of individuals in conjunction with other  disciplines within the health care environment.

To assist the registered nurse in providing a high and consistent level of holistic care, maintaining the dignity and equality of the individual. This includes direct care.

To observe and monitor changes in individuals’ behaviour, physical condition and social interaction, and to report any changes to the nurse in charge.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
