Job overview

An exciting  opportunity to join the school nursing immunisation team as a support worker.

The post will involve supporting the delivery of the National Immunisation Schedule for children. Also, following supervision and training, arrange and carry out vision screening for year reception children and the Child Measurement programme surveillance.

Post holder will be based at Ysbyty Penrhos Stanley and mainly cover Anglesey area, and will be expected to support across Anglesey and Gwynedd when needed.

 

 

Main duties of the job

To support the delivery of the School Nurse Framework and routine vaccinations for school aged children. 

Full duties will be noted within the job description and job specification.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
