Job overview
The post holder is a member of a team responsible for providing post and couriers services to premises of the Trust. Delivery and sorting of mail to Trust premises and other non-trust sites as appropriate for the service.
The post holder will be based at Flatts Lane (Part time - 7.5 hours) and will be required to work between the hours of 7.00 am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to complete and sign vehicles mileage logs and vehicle checklists to meet Trust standards including the daily vehicle defect log, maintain an accurate log of journeys through daily completion of log sheets and daily completion of timesheets, carry out filing of documents in line with the Trust policy and procedures and may be required to book in vehicle for servicing and MOT/repair to approved garage as per policy and procedure while liaising with line manager and will generate collection notes for postal contractor to collect external mail.
Collecting sorting, franking mail ready for collection by Royal Mail and and delivery of internal mail to departments within site.
