Do you have administrative or clerical experience, and enjoy working with data? We are looking for a detail-oriented, Data Coordinator to join our friendly team based in North Wales and play a key role in efficient data management. If you’re organised, with excellent communication and concentration skills and an eye for accuracy we’d love to hear from you.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Data Coordinator to assist with data input and evaluation of the Weight Management Services in Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). The service offers evidence based opportunities for people in North Wales who are seeking help with their weight to improve their health. The data coordinator role is a new role to support service evaluation, reporting and improvement.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the collection of accurate, complete and reliable data and input to the relevant weight management databases. You will work closely with the weight management teams including service leads, medical consultants, dietitians, occupational therapists, psychologists, admin and therapies assistants. You will also liaise with digital, data and technology and public health colleagues to support local and national data submissions, ensuring validation of data quality, contributing to the delivery of an effective service. You may also support weight management patient administration services including receiving referrals, answering enquiries and booking appointments.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
- • NVQ Business Administration L3 or equivalent experience • Good general education including Maths or Numeracy GCSE at grade B/6 or above or equivalent • IT related qualification CLAIT plus /ECDL or equivalent • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development • Understanding of data quality
Desirable criteria
- • AMSPAR – City & Guilds L3 • Statutory and Mandatory Training • Knowledge of NHS Organisations and Medical terminology • Knowledge of clinical systems and data entry
Experience
