Administrative Assistant - Respiratory Physiology

Job overview

The post holder will be working in the Respiratory Physiology department.  They will be part of a team who provide the administration of the patient pathway.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support the Respiratory Physiology administrative team with booking appointments, logging referrals, updating waiting lists, typing, calling patients and other administrative duties.

 

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate should have experience of administrative work and dealing with the general public and should be self-motivated with a calm, professional and organised approach to their work. They should be able to prioritise effectively and work in a flexible manner. It would be helpful to have NHS experience and in particular with appointment bookings.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would enjoy the challenge of a busy environment and is able to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to work within a  large team.

The hours and days of work in this role are fixed as follows:- Mon-Fri 08.00 am to 16.00.
