Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our large, friendly, Outpatient team as a Full time Patient Pathway Coordinator at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital for a 12 month fixed term to cover maternity leave.
The Outpatient Department centrally support all services at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. The role is pivotal to the smooth and effective running of the department.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate should have experience of administrative work and dealing with the general public and should be self-motivated with a calm, professional and organised approach to their work. He or she should be able to prioritise effectively and work in a flexible manner. It would be helpful to have NHS experience and in particular with appointment bookings.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would enjoy the challenge of a busy environment and is able to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to work within a large team and with the general public.
The hours and days of work in this role are fixed as follows:- Mon-Fri 08.30 am to 17.00. There will be an opportunity for agile working once fully trained.
