Are you a qualified Systemic Family Therapist looking for a truly rewarding role within one of our fantastically supportive teams?

Would you like to work for one of the few trusts rated as “Outstanding” by the CQC but who also have a huge focus on staff wellbeing?

In these roles you will provide specialist assessments, care planning and a range of evidence-based interventions. You will be responsible for assessing and treating adults, or children, young people and their families in relation to a range of highly complex emotional, psychological and behavioural challenges. You will work as part of multidisciplinary teams and with professionals across agencies.

Our services are very committed to the development of their staff and offer specialist training as well as internal and external developmental courses in their specialist areas.  

Typically, our services operate Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 17:00pm and offer some flexibility within this. We are open to both full and part time applicants

  • Providing systemic psychotherapy as autonomous professional employing methods based upon evidence
  • Working in ways which are sensitive to and appropriate for the needs of families from a wide range of racial, cultural and religious backgrounds
  • Undertaking detailed and specialist psychological and systemic assessment of adults/children and families using such assessment procedures as may be appropriate
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, child protection case conferences and reviews, etc
  • Maintaining up to date and accurate clinical record

  • Masters degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with families and groups in a mental health setting
  • Experience of working effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and multi-agency environment
  • Full UK driving license with access to vehicl

Education/Qualifications/Training

  • Registration with a recognised approved body
  • Masters level qualification or equivalent training in:- Qualified Systemic Family Therapist Masters level UKCP registered.
  • Clinical Psychology (or equivalent for those who trained before 1996) as accredited by the BPS. or Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC). or Occupational Therapy degree level qualification and registered with HPCP. or Registered Social Worker with relevant social work qualification. or Relevant post graduate qualification. or Qualified Psychotherapist registered with professional body i.e. ACP approved Child Psychotherapist.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience of working with people, families and groups in Mental Health setting.

  • Car owner/driver and possess full UK driver’s licence or evidence of ability to travel to designated base and other sites.
